A total of 113 men and women competed in this 18th running of the Winter Wimp, marking one of the biggest turnouts in the history of the event.
Also noteworthy were the outstanding efforts of race director Rick Vertucci and the many volunteers, who made everything run like clockwork, and the generosity of the many race sponsors. The god of weather even cooperated, providing a dry and seasonably warm day.
